1. Introduction

This series pipe welding rotators are used for assembly or fit-up of long pipe or tank as wind tower, tank vessel, etc. Adjusting roller UP and DOWN through oil cylinder to gain an accurate alignment of two pipes, and then to weld. It works with conventional type turning roll to realize the section to section assembly by means of “1+1” mode or “1+n” mode (also called growing line).

The standard models of our pipe welding rotator or roller beds have the following features:

• This welding turning roll consists of unpowered fit-up roller bed, hydraulic unit and electric control system, etc.
• Heat treatment to main welding parts after welding; sand blasting treatment to main welding parts before painting;
• Upper surface of base is treated with fine machining;
• The turning rolls are PU rollers. The core of the rollers are cast-iron clad with PU material;
• The four rollers on the turning roll are driven by four oil cylinders separately. It can realize simple operation or simultaneous running at the same side of the two oil cylinders through control, convenient and quick.
